Dr. Wei was everything the online reviews promised . . . and more. He was thorough, he was professional, he was careful to explain not only the “what” of the procedures and processes but his reasons and rationale for doing so. Appointment times were honored and he clearly respected the value of my time. He and his assistant, Amanda, were always considerate of any discomfort I may have felt and did everything they could to make the experience as stress-free as possible. He was responsive and respectful of my opinions and genuinely invested in providing me with the best medical and aesthetic outcome possible. Highly recommended.

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Wei. I had extensive work done. Throughout, he and his assistant, Amanda, made me feel relaxed and always a priority. I know how difficult it is to find a good dentist considering how many people fear it, but I am so thankful I found Dr. Wei.
I used to fear going to a dentist as a child, but Dr. Wei has truly made those childhood fears disappear. He is so professional by being extremely informative and sensitive to his patients. I’ve been to some dentists in the past who do not seem very caring, but he definitely makes sure you are comfortable in every situation, whether it be a teeth cleaning, cavity filling or something more serious. During procedures, if you feel the slightest discomfort he informs you to raise your hand immediately and stop, but during my cavity filling everything was smooth and perfect. His staff is just as kind and their service is great. I got to my appointment at 5 pm and I got taken care of right away with no wait. You can’t substitute for service like that these days. I know how difficult it is to find a good dentist considering how many people fear it, but I am so thankful I found Dr. Wei. I not only plan on going to him in the future, but I am also looking forward to future appointments!

A colleague recommended Dr. Wei to me several years ago and since then, he has become our family dentist and we have recommended Dr. Wei to other family and friends. In a dental emergency with a wisdom tooth, Dr. Wei made time from a packed schedule to squeeze in an appointment and I know he has done that for others as well. He also made a good recommendation to a dental surgeon. Dr. Wei is also very tech savvy and embraces the use of technology in his practice for his benefit and that of his patients. Lastly, his office is comfortable and his staff are very responsive and friendly. If you are super sensitive to pain, Dr. Wei also ensures that you are comfortable by employing topical anesthesia, using televisions as a distraction and is just good at talking you through a procedure. Overall, we would highly recommend Dr. Wei to others.

I’ve been to quite a few dentists in New York City over the years, and Dr. Wei is the only one I will go to. Excellent service, top-notch tech, and he’s also a genuine person and warm human being. I should mention that I’ve been seeing Dr. Wei for over a decade. The previous dentists that treated me couldn’t hold a candle to Dr. Wei! Even after my jaw was mangled in a bike accident, Dr. Wei treated me with the latest technological advances (and I am certain that few if any dentists would go above and beyond like he does). Now my wife is a patient as well. Definitely recommended.

I’m not one that enjoys going to the Dentist, I have had many nightmare experiences as a kid as well as in my early 20’s. I have been going to Dr. Michael Wei since 2003. I was very hesitant at first but as soon as I met him for the first time all my fears and discomforts were lifted. He truly makes your experience there a very welcoming one. He puts you first in all of your concerns and makes you feel comfortable. I’ve never been so comfortable and relaxed in my life when going to a dentist until I met Dr. Wei. He genuinely cares about your fears and or concerns and takes his time to make you feel calm and explains in detail what is needed. He is the Michael Angelo of Dentistry, the before and after shots of your smile truly makes you more confident and secure of yourself. I recommend my friends and everyone to use him as your primary Dentist, you will regret it if you don’t. Dr. Wei is someone you can trust which is hard to find in New York City.
